Meet the Founders
Annette
Founder & CEO
Annette is the founder of Cucua and has been a teacher for fifteen years. Her passion for EdTech began with her frustration over the limited tools available to teachers. Through her experience at various schools, she saw how meaningful technology can empower both students and educators.
As the creative mind behind Cucua, she shapes the vision of the platform and leads marketing and outreach. She presents the app to teachers, gathers feedback, and helps steer future development.
Annette also plays a key role as an active user. Her classroom perspective ensures the platform stays practical and relevant. When she's not working, she relaxes with K-dramas or kickboxing.
Kai Cui
Technical Co-Founder & CTO
Kai is an EdTech and education enthusiast, 2x technical & product co-founder with 10+ years of experience building and scaling digital products across multiple industries.
As Cucua's technical lead, he brings deep expertise in end-to-end product delivery, combining technical excellence with strong product strategy from MVP to scalable platforms.
His passion for education technology and comprehensive technical expertise ensure that Cucua is built on a robust, scalable architecture that serves teachers and students alike.
